Caramel sauce


Caramel sauce for ice cream and other desserts.

Ingredients for 500 ml jar:

200 g of sugar
150 g butter
125 ml whipping cream (22-35%)


Put the sugar in a heavy-bottomed ladle. Put on medium heat. Stirring constantly, bring to a boil. Cook until until the sugar dissolves and the mixture becomes amber.

Without removing the bucket from heat, add chopped into small pieces of butter and stir to dissolve the latter.

Remove from the heat and a thin stream, stirring constantly, pour in the cream. Stir until smooth and smooth mass.

Give the sauce cool to room temperature, then we shift / pour into a jar, cover and put in the refrigerator.
